Harelle C. Duncan, MD, MPH, FACP

Education & Early Journey

Dr. Duncan is a native of Haiti who immigrated to Florida at the age of nine. She completed elementary, middle, and high school in Miami Florida. Her journey of academics pursuit took her the University of Florida where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology in May 2001 and Master Degree in Public Health in August 2002.

Medical Training & Professional Experience

She attended Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica and completed her post graduate training in Internal Medicine at Mercer University Memorial Hospital in Savannah Georgia. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and licensed in the state of Florida and Georgia.

After completing her training, her desires to be closer to family propel her to move back to Florida. She previously worked for Sound Physicians at UF Health/Shands Jacksonville as a hospitalist for six years. Her hobbies include exercising, watching soap opera, and traveling.

Service, Community, & Family

She volunteers at numerous local organizations including: mission trip to Haiti to assist in medical rescue efforts after the earthquake with the CRUDEM Foundation, River City Clinic which provides free medical care to the uninsured, and involve in the health care ministry at First Baptist Church of Mandarin/Hopewell.

She’s married to Zebulun Duncan and has two children Jada & Jasmine.
